I purchased and have been studying / using Android four books about them and I’d say this is the best. This does not mean that others are not good, but this book serves the purpose of catching up faster and more clearly especially with the emphasis on the use of Eclipse as an environment of desarrollo.El book gives a sequential treatment Android , developing the concepts and constructions in a way that helps a beginner (Android) view the application quickly. While not exhaustive in depth on all topics covered covering all the major topics you need to know. His examples cover and answer many of the complex issues that one gets as it moves beyond the simple linear design and discovery of multiple points of view and drawing independent. I like multiple applications including the implementation show that can ampliar.Configuración the Android development environment was more complex than anything I’ve experienced – and Eclipse is slow and buggy and takes time to understand – the use of Java makes the slow IDE and Android operating system, and, surprisingly, the programs do not seem to fully work on all platforms with the release of Android itself. So much for portability. But this has nothing to do with the book, which is still maturing excelente.Android which means growing pains on both sides, for the developer and the user. I see a lot of promise for him! As open source is what some in joke – try to stop unwanted SMS messages out in the background for example. Collusion between Google and the phone provider – one is discovered when you get your next bill unless you have unlimited TEXT. It is built into the operating system. Rating: 5 / 5

I read most of the online tutorials Android, following the documentation on Google and was willing to give until I stumbled up this book at Amazon. The previous reviewers recommendation was given as a fiery, thought he had to try it. There were other books with a review more but less than stellar recommendations. So I want to echo what everyone here is saying, if you are serious about learning to develop for the Android platform, will have to start here. This book comes with references to the codes of each fragment is referred to in the book and safari pass read online for a limited time. So in one afternoon I was already using Android API to interact with the hardware for things like geolocation and music playback and vídeo.De Anyway, this book is written by fellow programmers, so waiting a few misspellings and grammatical errors. The logic and explanations, however, are solid and clear. Rating: 5 / 5

This book does a good job of brushing in most Android APIs, but the code samples are missing. Almost none of the code examples are global, so basically this book is to give hints about what classes / functions that should be exercised for a specific functionality. It is almost always necessary to consult google for better ejemplos.Esto is definitely the best book if you are new to android. Rating: 3 / 5

I have read almost every book Android development out there, and this book is by far my favorite. The author has done a great job of establishing the contents and covers enough to give it a quick read through to the jump in code examples (included on CD). I have recommended this book to other fledgling Android developers. Rating: 5 / 5

This is my fourth book Android and by far the best. Concepts that I was unsure about are explained clearly and precisely. I particularly like the order in which topics are covered. The other books started to develop an application without much explanation underlying individual issues – that make for later, and not to do so. If I had bought this first book will probably not have or need the rest. Rating: 5 / 5
