How do I transport pictures from my Motorola Razr V3C camera phone to my computer?

As mentioned earlier, I am having difficulty getting the pictures in my Razr to my PC. (I have Windows XP if this is important) I have a USB connector that fits in my phone, so I’m assuming it would work. When I connect to my computer the computer displays a message that new hardware has been found (V3c Motorola), but when I try to load necessary to show that hardware could not be found. So I’m at a loss for what to do. Hopefully someone else with this phone or someone who knows what is happening can help me. Thanks! When I connect the mini USB cable for both my PC and check there is no large folder that shows something to do with the phone. Only people typical folders and CD players.

you should have a cd called motorola mobile phone tools…if not, you can search google for a similar “motorola pc to phone” software….the other quick easy way is to send a picture message to your email. standard picture message charge applies lol

once you plug in the USB to both devices… it should recognize it and show up as a mass storage device in your “my computer” in windows xp, just open it and find the pics

You need to have a driver and data trasfer software. The driver you can download of the web for free, but it would only allow you to charge your phone through your computer so since you want to transfer data, you should buy Motorola Phone Tools. Its retail price is 30+, but if you buy it on eBay, you could get for under 15 bucks.
I did some research and found the driver:

and a good deal on eBay for Motorola Phone tools:

    Hope this is helpful!!!
