While climbed a nearby hill, I could talk to my children in a Walmart building in the valley, 6 miles away. Very impressed. Also this walkie talkie is light and compact. Ideal for outdoor walks. Rating: 5 / 5

easy to use. perfect for what we need to, which is to allow contact with the family, while the short distances, ie walk in the neighborhood. will reach about a mile in a middle ground – rolling hills and valleys. no complaints, except I like to go further. as the bright color and easy to locate. We bought this for our planetary projectionist to stay in contact with the box office. This lets you know how many people have of shows, if you have a school group or special needs of guests, etc. It seems to work wonderfully. He has been using for about 2 months and no complaints. Our museum is located inside a historic train station, train remodeled, so there are a lot of concrete, brick and steel construction. The distance between the Planetarium and ticket sales is about 70 meters, and this radio gets great signal in that environment at that distance. In addition, you can not exceed the price. This is not for you if you think you will get a long-range communications. They were probably able to go 1 mile away before you could not hear each other. Rating: 2 / 5
