I did not want to upgrade, I was very happy and comfortable with my Tungsten E2, but when the battery died. . . . so we all know the deal: (So after finding out that the only way to get a new Palm Smartphone to go with the PRE. What a disappointment! skills are good, but the keyboard is so small that an elf has problems with that there is no on-screen keyboard to send a text, however short it has a lot of effort. The keys often respond inconsistently, not reacting or writing a letter 3 x. The battery life is too short .. . it makes my previous LG enV3 look like a technological miracle … and I was very happy with this phone, I would rate it 5 stars. So I bought a spare battery because of this problem, well, taking off the existing battery is horrible every time! You have to argue with her, you do not always know whether the hidden “closure” has been released and has to use a very thin (suggesting a nail, but there is no way it will work, unless the man of steel with steel nails THIN. I’ve cut twice with a knife to try and release the latch. Then comes the problem with the software. Google is not so bad, but giving them all the contact and appointment information may cause some concern. I loved the Palm software, but this will work with the phone. In addition, all my contacts did not transfer over and I’ve read all instructions. only dissappointing aspect of this sad excuse for PDA / phone. I just wish I had continued to make some handhelds. I’ve been a loyal Palm user for over 10 years and have never been disappointed, but this phone is horrible! saw similar comments advising me to buy this phone, but I thought, well, I’ve been using Palm forever and so if I am determined to love this phone, I’m sure you will find out the quirks. I told myself I would find out, I’m pretty tech-savvy, but the end result I like at least every day and would give anything to go back and make a different option. I do not think that I will never buy one again … NOTHING PALM pity that doesn’t value company to its loyal customers more than sell a piece on “price of the phones unworkable. I can not wait until my contract is until we get some more. I hope someone who reads this will be prevented from making this terrible and expensive mistake. This phone marks the end of my relationship with the palms and the confidence he had in his company to make products with excellent security. Rating: 1 / 5

My wife lost her old cell phone in a taxi, and immediately bought this Palm Pre in a Verizon store at the base of long-term satisfaction with other Palm devices. He immediately began to “go crazy” with the erratic behavior of her new wonder-phone. She is no dummy, my wife, but found this phone very difficult to configure. He spent much time on it and other phones in parallel with the “help” lines, some of the conversations taking place insolent, some of the “helpers” were not much help, but finally got most of the operating functions. And there are functions that it was wonderful, no doubt about it! The GPS function is excellent, he says, and Internet access is quite good, although a little slow. The little beast is light and smooth to the mano.Sin But in just a couple of conversations long distance before finding the fatal weakness, the sound distorted. She told me to hold the phone ‘not yet’. I told her that she was “broken.” Now, I ask, what is the main function of a cell phone in case of not having clear voice transmission from one city to another? The voice on this phone was horrible. I would consider that the specific instrument purchased was a failure, but other people have told us they are found the same problema.Afortunadamente, there was a grace period. ” She took the creature back to Verizon this morning and replaced it with a phone from a different manufacturer. Right there in the store, she phoned me than others, to see the difference. We had a loving conversation, of course. It made my day. Rating: 1 / 5

I’ve had more than a dozen of phones and my experience with the Pre Palm has been the worst in history. The battery dies without even making phone calls within 12-15 hours or so, since it is constantly blinking when I receive an e-mail. When I needed help in fixing something, responding to Palm tech guys in India were never useful. Now, after less than six months to have this $ 550 phone, inside the screen somehow broken into 6 pieces and I can not use it anymore. Although I have a year warranty, Palm Support told me that they do not agree to fix, as it may be due to customer neglect, despite the fact that I put a protective cover on it on first day and always taken good care of it. No wonder this company going bankrupt horrible. Rating: 1 / 5
