Samsung LN46A650 46-inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV with RED Touch of ColorSu been 2 weeks since I received this TV. This replaced my Samsung LN46A650 42 “Westinghouse monitor which I took to my office. For your main intended use as a TV… Your pride. HDTV broadcast on the cable is beautiful and Blue Ray play back is simply stunning! Compared with my Westinghouse, the black level performance is incredibly better. I’ve only had this unit for 2 weeks so I have not explored all the extent n-th. I use this TV for my work almost 50% of the time. This TV is used as a computer monitor for CAD drafting (AutoCad). YES… its use is 95% as a TV for movies and cable / satellite broadcast, you can not ask for a better TV. 4 – 1 / 2 stars as a TV! CONS (using as a TV): -> Custom Settings ONLY 3 – If you are very demanding settings IMAGE different inputs, this TV does not allow a specific configuration for each entry. I’m used to being able to have specific settings for Cable, DVD / Blue Ray, PC Game and supplies. There are 3 modes of image, “Dynamic”, “Standard” and “Movie”. You make your pinch-specific mode then apply “mode” option to each entry. Until now I have my Blue Ray connected to “HDMI 1″ and my high definition cable “Components” and had the opportunity to tweak to the desire of my heart for both inputs. BUT … (Continued below in “used as a computer monitor) -> PIP IS ONLY FOR THE STANDARD DEFINITION” ANTENNA / CABLE INPUT: Only analog input may be too clear provision in the main picture. You can not display any component, HDMI or PC input and PIP SOURCE… AND YOU CAN NOT SWAP PIP and main screen. I spent how much?… and I can not have a HD PIP while working on my computer? DISAPPOINTED! -> NO button PIP on the remote control: The only way to turn the PIP is to go through the main menu… very cumbersome .-> REMOTE worst design I’ve used – I hate like all others .——- —————- CONS (using TV as a computer monitor): My reason for a number of stars 1 GLOBAL->> The adjustable settings not all work with everyone ” modes “or” entries “- I connected my laptop (DVI output via DVI to HDMI cable) to HDMI 2. I have my video card to output at 1920×1080, the same configuration I used for my Westinghouse. The first impression is “WOW YOUR FUZZY” and not in full-screen. THERE IS A BAND OF NEAR A BLACK inches all around the full-size window! Ok, it has to be adjusted. So I selected “Standard” mode but for me surprise were some adjustments in gray and inaccessible. I can not change the “sharpness” in case of use as a computer monitor by either 2 or HDMI input PC input using the VGA cable! SU stalled at 50 in range 0 to 100 and can not be adjusted! I have to set at 100 .->> UNIQUE COLOR LINE CAD SOFTWARE IS displayed incorrectly – AutoCad 256 color palette that appears on a black backgroud wrong color displays vertical and diagonal . The color is correct only when its perfectly horizontal. The way my AutoCad is set up, track width depends on the color line. Every one of my main COLOR 3 different shades denoting 3 or screening WITDH different line when plotted . These shadows are not distinguishable. This can be a problem in the frequency of vertical and horizontal sync, but no settings available to correct the problem. I’ve tried everything in the video card, but can not get rid of this problem. I to contact Samsung for a specific driver for the LCD 650 series (if any) to see if that fix it. The TV is receiving 1920×1080 but does not fill the screen. Measures approximately 43 “viewable area .->> SOURCES ON THE INTERNET PAGES AND FUZZY word processor is: I thought it was just one problem with AutoCad but windows All software listed as “graphics” is fuzzy. The only thing that looks decent and representations are the photos 3D.CONCLUSIÓN: This TV is excellent, as a TV. . . no question about it. But. . . Fails miserably as a computer monitor. Westinghouse lower my running circles around this Samsung used as computer monitor. It could be the combination of my video card and TV, but I doubt it. If you use your TV as a computer monitor over ocaisionally, you will be disappointed. With my old Westinghouse, just connect the DVI on my computer and displays the image full screen with accurate color. A little tweak in the “brightness”, “Contrast”, “backlight” and “color” and seemed as strong as my LCD monitor on my laptop. . . NO MATTER WHAT SOFTWARE I expect this Samsung TV RAN.Yo be at least equal to the Westinghouse as a computer monitor. I was wrong and disappointed. Bring your laptop to a local store and test it first. . . then buy it from Amazon at a better price. As a computer monitor for anything other than email and word processing, this unit is almost unusable. Rating: 1 / 5

First let me say that I have had this TV for a total of five hours, and that I have HD yet, so I’m running through coaxial cable. Having said that this LCD is a disappointment as a SD TV. The ghost is horrible. The 120hz is almost completely useless. But I think some of these issues will be fixed when I’m in high definition. Now my biggest problem with this TV is that it makes movies filmed in the look of films made in film and video. I actually feel like I lost $ 1,500 for an LCD TV that has an image worse than my $ 250 TV CRT.Me make sure to update you all for the image quality when I HD. Rating: 1 / 5

Before I comment on this product, I have to say that Amazon offers excellent delivery of this product. However, for this TV, I have to make an assessment of 3 estrellas. He read many comments from people with this issue and I thought the good television until I bought it. I am totally disappointed with the color settings of the LCD screen. The color was too yellow and red. I could not do better. Compared to my Panasonic 720p plasma, the plasma color is beautiful outside of the box. The sound is nothing terrible in this TV, with surround sound on, I can not understand clearly because it seemed to bring the recorder sound for theater and prints. In general, it looks good with PC input. However, with others, DVD and TV inputs, the color of this TV is not good. Another thing missing is the title does not work if you are using a component video cable as a separate catalog. If you do not believe me. Buy this TV and find out. Rating: 3 / 5

It took quite a long time to get the thing delivered, but when it came, was in excellent condition and looked beautiful in my cabinet. Unfortunately, because Comcast is incompetent, really incompetent, has been a full 26 days so far and I still have yet to actually see a picture of HDTV on my HDTV. However, I wonder again about this TV when in fact successfully get Comcast HD signal in my house, I can see an HD picture in it. Note that is about 45 days since I placed the order for this TV with Amazon, and 26 days since I signed up for Comcast HDTV and for which I am paying, but not receive anything. Rating: 2 / 5

people well. . . Samsung, which I get. . . this new 46 “650 series or the 46″ Samsung LN-T4681F LED last year? saw both at the same price. . . and I am torn. . . has the LED 81 in the victory, the 4 ms in the 650 or vice versa? that has a potential for them to ‘blur’ or ‘triple ball that these issues are eliminated in both models. . . LED is actually more reliable or is the technology still too new to determine? Arrggh decision making. . . Any advice would be appreciated! Rating: 5 / 5
