I have a Samsung plasma that I bought 2 years ago and the TV-out and just flat died on me a couple of weeks. I looked on the website Consumer Affairs and found several people had exactly the same problems. When I called Samsung who basically said too bad they do not have warranty of 1 year. I’ve never heard of an expensive TV (or even a cheap one for that matter) were just flat and die (with several purple stripes on the screen) after only 2 years! My advice: Stay away from Samsung TVs unless you can afford to replace your expensive TV every 2 years. Rating: 1 / 5

This LCD TV has a good image quality impressive, but when there is a rapid movement, there is still a lot of Jutta or blurring of the image. I returned it for this reason. Rating: 2 / 5

We bought the first LN55B650 7/3/2009 and was given a few days. He had a great image, but we realized two things at once, the TV was not flat and that the light was bad. You can see all light sources on the screen, even a table lamp or indirect light from a window. What I originally thought this was normal so I thought I would have to deal with it. The TV is preassembled with the pedestal and settled in our built in entertainment center. The set leaned dramatically on the left and forward and continued to deteriorate so we called for service. By the time they were out in late July was supported by an inch to the left and half inch forward. The pedestal is installed in the factory set and no adjustment. The replacement set arrived on 8/4/2009 and was level to begin with, but only for a period of 2 weeks was as bad as the first. After going through 2 with the same exact problem he decided to seek a different TV. We think of the Samsung LED version, but if you can not design a simple pedestal works, what else have missed? This is certainly a design flaw, the second set was more than 1 1 / 4 “out of level from top to bottom and one foot forward while our Sony was delivered yesterday. Thank God for the return policy 30 days where purchased. We have updated the Sony KDL-55V5100. What we sell in the Sony was when we were talking with the seller about the glare on the Samsung and the fact that several of the televisions turned off for comparison . The light of the other brands was terrible compared to Sony even with the start. That along with image quality and reputation of Sony made the decision easy. After getting home yesterday we are pleased that Samsung no training, Sony image quality is drastically especially given the light we experienced with Samsung. The Sony does not have visible glow from the windows or lamps that only a great improvement and drive straight sets level. Do not know how the revision on this and other Samsung products are as good, if you could experience both the Samsung and Sony at home as we have now the choice was easy. The base is also very important for Sony and looks very nice in our entertainment center. If you decide to go with Samsung that will come with a couple of scews and a nylon rope. The instructions say this is a security measure to keep the TV from tipping in a child. The actual use of the chain is to overcome the design flaw and keep the TV to not tip over if you use the included pedestal, I would immediately: This model has a lot of cool features, if you can cope with a screen inclined or plan to mount on the wall and do not mind the problems that this may be a reflection of all for you. I have many pictures of this unit placed in some other reviews, but does not see an option for images on Amazon. They are published at BestBuy if you want to take a look to see what I mean by the TV is tilted. Rating: 2 / 5

I looked and looked for just the right LCD TV for the right price, it does not matter if it was Sony, RCA, Samsung, but when I saw my samsung LN55B650 sisters fell in love, the image was so clear and sharp, and what I was that it was an HD DVD or Blu-Ray was more than just a ole DVD. So I started shopping, at first I was looking at no more than the males (…) And around a “52, was about to get into Sears LN52B650 (…), and after tax (…). I got up I was on amazon looking for an old movie on DVD when I can have a samsung for (…), LN55B650 to make a long story short (…) I went on this bad boy and man I’m on my DVDs again. This TV is great and is even better because of the price, Sears is the price of this puppy (…). Rating: 5 / 5
