When should my child a mobile phone?

This is the most discussed topic among parents today! Ultimately one of the parents the decision is up to you but you do need to look at things realistically. At the age of 10 is still recommended that a child help crossing the road. But in saying there are plenty of advantages of having a child.

They contact you in an emergency. They learn responsibility, time management and skills financial. One has the comfort of knowing that you have contact with them when they are under their supervision.

In my opinion, if your child can make their tasks such as washing dishes, keep your room clean and walk the dog on a regular basis, and they feel mature enough, then they are probably responsible enough to possess a mobile phone.

It is important that parents and caregivers if you decide to give your child a mobile phone that takes the time to talk of the costs involved and the security problems.

I do not know about you but remember when I was a child walking home from a friend in the early morning while we were at home by the time the light came on the street there was a problem. We were in cars that had no seat belts on bikes without helmets or shoes and play with the cans that had strings attached. There were teams Xbox, Playstation, or dvd's, we had fun playing outdoor cubicle houses or built.

I think what I'm trying say is that simplicity is gone, now we live in a world of technology savy. Technology has changed our lives and our children with her. All kids want today is a mobile phone. Imagine if you tied a rope to two cans and said: "Here, this was our moving into the old days." How do you respond?
