MobileBurn.com – AT&T is the second major carrier in the US to release a version of the Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone, following Sprint and its Galaxy S II Epic 4G Touch. AT&T’s version is much more faithful to the original, global edition than Sprint’s is, as it features the same 4.3-inch, WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution Super AMOLED display and square corners as the global model. It is powered by the same 1.2GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos processor as the others, and features 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The AT&T Galaxy S II has the same 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, as well as the same 2 megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera will record 1080p HD video. Like the others, AT&T’s model runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and Samsung’s TouchWiz 4 interface, though there are some minor differences between it and the version of TouchWiz on the Sprint model. AT&T will be releasing the Galaxy S II on October 2 for $199.99 with a new two-year contract. More info: www.mobileburn.com

Motorola PHOTON 4G vs. Google Nexus S 4G Dogfight Part 2 by Aaron It’s a dogfight between two popular Android handsets on Sprint! The Motorola PHOTON 4G sports a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 CPU, 4.3-inch qHD PenTile display, 8-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording, front-facing camera, global roaming capabilities, a kickstand for easy viewing of media, and Android 2.3 with Motorola’s custom UI. The Nexus S 4G is powered by a single-core 1 GHz Hummingbird processor and has a 4-inch curved Super AMOLED Plus display, 5-megapixel camera, front-facing shooter, and a vanilla build of Android 2.3. The Motorola PHOTON 4G is a feature-packed handset with an excellent wireless radio (seriously, signal strength is awesome), but the Nexus S 4G serves up a bloat-free build of Android. Which one offers the best mix of everything? Part 2 of 2. Facebook: www.facebook.com Twitter: www.twitter.com Forums: forums.phonedog.com Win Free Phones: instantwin.phonedog.com
